My early years were spent in Dateland, AZ and I would explore the desert at an early age. I gave my mother fits because I was always wandering off exploring the creatures of the desert. I went to pre-school with the Navajo children and my mother said I could speak the language at the age of 3. Don't remember a word of it now.
